GMC Forum _ GEAR & PRODUCTION _ Acoustic Guitar

Hi everyone

My next step in my guitar life is wondering into Acoustic territory
I know I want a steel string Acoustic guitar ( Not a Acoustic/Electric or a Nylon String)
Now I have some thoughts in mind when In comes to brands but really I have no idea and Im up for some suggestions.
I like warm/ smooth tones and any ideas are welcome

Im not sure what a Nylon String is, but I picked up a Stagg for about 100$ and I love it... never had a problem with it, and acoustic friends like to pick it up when its near by. I believe it uses copper? strings, I havent seen steel strings for an acoustic other than the strings I get for my banjo ^^;

Have a look at the Martin 000X1. It's a very nice guitar. You may also look at Ibanez AW40ECE-NT. That one has a little more lows, and a onboard preamp with tuner... both for about 500 USD.
