Even though this a spoof music video, I think its a great lesson in effective songwriting. What makes it so funny is the fact that its so well laid out and structured... if it wasn't for the ridiculous lyrics you would think its just like any other song on the radio. Actually, I think the lyrics are more intelligent and better thought out than 99% of the lyrics on most pop songs.
