it would mean a bright future with less silly people which don't have any respect for the guitar and the veggies 
I begged my folks for a guitar from the time I could walk until I turned 14 and the finally bought me a fake les paul. Before that I had a terrible short range accoustic. Just getting used to holding an instrument so it feels normal and not awkward can help quite a bit. Learning little bits here and there can really prep them well for later learning.
