Do You Think Guitar Players Are Ever Satisfied? |

That depends on a person! Some are satisfied with only power chords! but if you are a shredder type of guitar player than you'll never be satisfied with how you play because you'll always want to get better!
i know i am not satisfied with my playing....some say i am crazy....but i just want to get better and better

I think "I am good enough" is another way of saying "I'm not interested anymore". So what do I think my level is? Intermediate ... (but a lower Intermediate than Pavel  )

As with fkalich - breaking it in to two parts:
Instruments and gear - I don't need any more guitars/amps etc but weak willed person that I am it doesn't stop me wanting some .Playing - the one thing I've come to learn in life is how little I know and how much more there is to learn. A bit akin to shining a torch in the dark I suppose - you can either concentrate on and be happy with all that is revealed in the small corona of light or want to know what still remains in the dark as well. I go for the latter even if it's never ending. As Blanchot once put it, I paraphrase a bit, it's the possibility of the impossible rather than the impossibility of the possible that intrigues me most.
