So I had a very large unexpected Visitor the other morning. As some of you may already know I am currently residing in Fairbanks, Alaska. I live kind of out in the woods. I have these 2 large 6 X 6 Foot windows in my living room that over look the woods about 10 ft away from my house. Well I woke up in the morning to this knocking sound on my windows. I got up to inspect and to my surprise had a Large Bull Moose knocking on my window. Scared the crap out of me when I first opened the curtains!! Got to Love Alaska. This thing is larger than my SUV. At least 7 to 8 ft tall. Crazy. Anyways thought I'd share that with everyone!!

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

Since I have been here I have seen a few Grizzly Bears, Black bears, Lots of Moose, Wolves, And Enormous Caribou (Deer). Its kind of cool, its like - 18 degrees Fahrenheit right now. Moose just wander everywhere. Your'll be at a stop light and one will walk right through an intersection with its baby behind it. There massive. Larger than horses. Its kind of cool!!!

I did the drive during the summer, it took 13 days. I drove it in my brand new BMW X3, now that is what I call breaking in a new ride. My route was exactly 5,100 miles long. I camped the entire way up there enjoying the sights stopping here and there to do some hiking. I'm having issues with my web site but as soon as it is resolved I will post up a link of the journey!! Thanks!!!

Its a great car I love it. Gas Mileage is the best for an SUV. Handles extremely well. Feels like I am driving a sports car half of the time. But if I had to go back and do it again I would probably go with the X5 just because its a little bit bigger, gets about the same mileage, and I just like the way the body looks better. But still Very Good car. Sometimes I wish it were bigger than the moose that I run across occasionally on the road. I think I would feel a little safer.
