Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi man! good job on this lesson. I think that your playing is very balanced in the whole take. You learnt each part very well and you played it with nice feeling and dynamics. Some of the faster licks could sound even tighter (like the one at 00:43), but the overall great.

Your guitar sounds a bit far in the mix, lit lacks treble or presence compared to the original lesson. I'm not sure if this is a guitar tone or overall mix issue but it would be good if you try to improve the sound of your videos since your playing is very good.

I will grade this take with a 9, congrats!

Hello friend. What a pleasant surprise.
First I congratulate you on your music arrangements.
I like that you did as you see it, personally. I like your sound, the neck pickup on your guitar, sounds different. I like your pronounced vibratos and your feeling. I like the way you've solved the sweeping chord FMajor7. I have nothing to correct you, I prefer a version that an imitation.

I add it to "favorite videos" in my youtube channel ...

Thanks!!

Hey mate smile.gif

Javier pointed out a great thing here smile.gif This is a very nice rendition with a personal touch, taking the piece elsewhere, in a good place of course!

Congrats on your playing and I do believe that taking Gabi's suggestions into consideration can improve the take even more! I'd be happy to help out with more lessons in this direction if you are interested, so PM me smile.gif

Hi mate,

really really good expression here. Nice bluesy touch & sound(but could be a bit louder in the mix in my opinion)..
Just focus a bit more on your timing and that's all. Fantastic!!!
