Metal Power Chords, Lesson By Lian Gerbino |

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Well played! Very solid picking and fretting. This is a simple lesson but involves some very important technique. This are BIG power chords that go beyond the standard two note/first and fifth type power chord. it can be easy to mis fret one of these and have not so great results. Not so here, you are fretting in a very solid way and the chords sound HUGE as they are intended to. You have a very firm striking technique which gives the chords good power. Your timing is also spot on. You are not drifting behind or rushing the beat. The most important thing in playing rythm guitar is actually staying locked in to the beat and you are doing a great job of. Score!!
