Hey , guys, I recently put an Ibanez RG2550e on hold from a guitar website, so I should get it when it comes into stock. But i've been considering canceling my order and buying one of the Dean Dimebag Darrell guitars instead (not sure which one). So what do you guys think? Should I stick with Ibanez or go with Dean? I am strictly wanting a guitar for metal and shred stuff, as I already have classic rock and blues covered. Thanks smile.gif

NEVER buy a guitar online, guitars have their own personality even the same kind of guitars. Play one it plays and sounds great, play two, maybe the same, play three and I guarantee you will find a difference in feel and sound in them(slight but noticeable difference).

You want to buy a guitar go to a music store and play them and then decided. Don't buy a guitar because it looks cool. buy it because it sounds and plays great and is comfortable in your hands.

If you buy one online and there is something wrong with it, you have to send it back and wait and wait and wait some more and you only have people on the telephone to speak with. Buy one at a local music store and you can bring it in for repair(don't buy from a place that cannot service what they sell), plus you have a live person to speak with when/if something goes wrong with it.

IMHO buy the Ibanez, I was undecided to but when I went and played guitars it was the Ibanez convinced me right away. I bought the Ibanez RG 1570 and I'm happy as hell about it.
