I'm new here from the Netherlands 21 years old. I started playing around three months ago but i couldn't keep my attention on one thing at the time.. I want to learn everything in one day. tongue.gif Hopefully i can find some good practice schedules here so i can focuse on a couple of things at the time. I really want to play blues and funk guitar i'm a great fan of stevie ray vaughan, muddy waters, bb king, john frusciante, john mayer and the list goes on lol.

I currently have a Fender mim telecaster a Squier Classic Vibe 60's strat using on a line6 gearbox. I want to buy a vox ac15 and a fender jaguar before this year ends. biggrin.gif

Yeah exactly as a beginning guitarist i don´t have a clue where i should start with all the amount of information available. ohmy.gif I started learning all the basic chords and then stepped over to covering songs. I know a few songs now but i don´t want to keep covering songs i want to have my own style. tongue.gif

Start with Kris's beginner kickoff http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/beginner-guitar/beginner-video-lessons1.htm 6 parts to this lesson. Also Andrew has some great Beginner material as well. If you feel that you are a little further along, try some of the 101 lessons.

Hey man, welcome!

You are like me. I always feel overwhelmed because I want to learn all at once, tongue.gif

But I suggest you go learning on loops. Something like

1st loop: pentatonics, power chords, chords, timing
2nd loop: major and minor scales, pentatonics, power chords, advanced chords, timing
3rd loop: same as 2nd loop + other things
4th loop: same as 4th loop + other things

And so on.
