No this is not possible at the moment I believe, BUT what you could do. I dont know if Kris would allow it, but I dont see why not.

If you have a mic, or a webcam. Just click the backing track, and let it play while recording it. Then just use that recorded video, or midi or w/e. Then if you want it on a cd. Just put it into Reaper, or another program like that. And then do it that way!!

It's a solution... but, if my computer's sound is very bad and I recording this sound with a microphone, I think the new sound will be more bad... dry.gif

If it turns out to be legal, and you can do what Ryan suggested, MP3 my MP3 is a pretty good program for recording without a mic.

Edited for stupidity.

At the moment there is a good reason why this can't be done - Kris doesn't want GMC backing tracks and videos becoming available for free on youtube or wherever - if they do, GMC makes less money and we all suffer.

Threads along these lines saying you can do such and such to bypass this are upsetting to me ...

I agree, I think GMC would take a big hit from things becoming downloadable, a big hit to something that is near, if not entirely, perfect.
