As much as I have huge respect to the guy, I didn't care much for his blues route he adapted in the recent years. This is the stuff (from 2.23) I like about his songs, such beautiful melodies and the reverse is even better biggrin.gif

His still one of my favourite players and biggest influences from my childhood. Funny thing - I found similar evolution coming through my life as well. I'm now much more up to blues than those crazy 80's rock shredding...still like it but something has changed in me for sure smile.gif

I respect that smile.gif actually go further and say such naturally developed changes in time is a must for a progressing musician smile.gif

I guess yours is tone oriented while I'm going more on the expectation thing, I mean I like listening stuff that I can't guess what the next note can be more and more. This is probably my listening habit effecting the stuff I like to play as time passes by.

That's probably both...but some of us get's focused on dynamics range...not necessary on the new notes comibinations smile.gif))

Oh don't get me wrong I didn't ment to simplify while keeping words short smile.gif I agree shred sound doesn't have much to do with dynamics in fact a nasty string buzz on clean sound can sound pretty good with devastating distortion biggrin.gif

hahaha Paul is great!! Very creative way to use the looper! Now I will definitely experiment with my Pod's looper which I rarely use... smile.gif
