Hello guys!! I am thinking of buying a new guitar and I would like your opinion on it! Since I am left handed, I have limited options here in Greece.
Here is the link
https://www.thomann.de/gr/lefthanded_guitar...Solar%20Guitars
I don't know what should I choose.
I have a 7-string Schechter Hellraiser C7 and I am very happy with it, as far as rhythm is concerned! But for soloing it has a really thick neck and it is not ideal. l would buy a 7 string again to tell the truth, since I am mostly interested in modern and extreme metal playing, but I am not sure what should I choose! Which of those options are good?
Thanks

Lots of folks LOVE the Solar guitars. Our founder Kris Dahl has one of the six string models and he has had only positive things to say about it. It's a solid choice and would serve you well smile.gif For around the same money you could also get one of the 7 string ibanez that have upgraded pickups like fishman or bareknuckle built in. If you are not going to be able to play any of them, do as much research as you can before making a purchase.

You can get an ibby 7 with dimarzio pups for around the same price. But it's just another option. The solar are very solid guitars and you'd be happy with it imho smile.gif Here is a link to one of the ibbys as an alternative.

Sarge, it is really cool, but I have lot fewer options cause I am LEFT handed. I think that Solar guitars have been on the uprise for sure! Also that Schechter Reaper looks sweet!!

fellow Lefty , and good to see you back, I more than most know your plight and... finally bought an expensive ( for me ) guitar .I know you already have a schecter . I bought the sls elite https://www.schecterguitars.com/guitars/lef...t-handed-detail , this might be a little more than your budget , but I would save or this one without the whammy https://www.schecterguitars.com/guitars/kei...ke-green-detail
The necks are compound radius and the elites have stainless steel frets which are like butter to play , if you have never played stainless steel , please try to find one before you buy , with all that the fishman fleunce pick ups are so smooth - you will love them and with coil spliting option only increases tonal range . the 1500 series floyd stayes in tune better than my fixed bridge guitars .I know us lefties always get "left" out in the cold as far as colors and such ,But I have never regretted paying twice as much as I ever have before

The KM7 is one of the best schecter guitars ever made imho. That or the Solar would be a great addition to just about any collection. The neck on the KM7 is quite nice and very playable. It's a bit thinner than the standard schecter 6 string neck despite being a 7. The reaper look very cool but they do have more of a traditional shcecter neck which is a pinch beefy for some folks.
