Hey GMC \m/

I would like to show you my newest video! It's Csardas of Vittorio Monti in the style of metal of course. smile.gif

Everything arranged, and recorded by me.
Please give me thumbs up, comments and subscription on youtube! It helps getting more views. biggrin.gif

This time I've decided to show my small "home studio" as a background. cool.gif

Out of what I know, csardas is a traditional Hungarian dance, am I right?

Most definitely! But if I am not mistaken, he already has tackled some! He is very consistent and always comes up with nice vids and orchestrations!

Yep, it is. We even had to learn how to dance it in middle school. I guess i would've enjoyed it a lot more if it had this kind of instrumentation biggrin.gif

Yep...I do remember one take over Paganini smile.gif Those are tricky ones. Violin has much shorter measure and it's tuned in 5th's so making a transcribtion for guitar get's harder biggrin.gif

Great ideas. biggrin.gif

I'm also thinking about making metal arrangements of some film / video games music but I'm not sure how the copyright works in such cases.

It's a good thing that they didn't make us dance popular music in school biggrin.gif

Oh yes.. I've been struggling with this piece here. But for me, it was more about the interpretation rather than the positions in this case. I guess it's nothing compared to the Paganini pieces, but nonetheless, it involves transposing music from an instrument to another.

I had my neoclassical period too...but once just decided it's about time to start own compositions if I wanna develope my skills. But some of those classic are still a tasty snack to put Your hands on smile.gif

It may seem strange, but, I don't see that Bach piece as being so well integrated into the neoclassical current. For me, just like Vivaldi, it feels like something else - fresh and different smile.gif It's more about the nuances and the interpretation, but that's how I see it.
