Got my "new" guitar last week. The babe was born in 1989, and is a Carvin Stratocaster! It sounds phenomenal, and even better to play on.

I recorded some videos and put together of me playing it. It`s on the clean and low-gain channel the real sweet sounds comes out of it, but this vids are all recorded on high-gain, so the clean gotta wait:)
All compositions are lessons that I`ve learned here on GMC, and 3/4 of them are coincidentaly "In The style of" lessons.

I would love to hear some comments, particulary constructive critisism on my playing:)

Some sloppyness, but try to enjoy:D

The guitar cool mate! I think you would definitely benefit from changing the pickguard to black tho cool.gif

Your playing is cool, just need to work on bends a little to make the sharp and precise.

Thanks:)
Carvin is a guitar brand of very high quality, but still there are few that actually has heard of it. I chose the Carvin because I got it much cheaper then a Fender of equal quality. The man I bought it from, compared the guitar to a Fender Deluxe, which cost over 10k. My carvin costed 12k in 1989, and it still looks new, and I payed only 5k. wink.gif

Nice guitar!
I want one! Always been keen on natural 'woody' looks. laugh.gif

Carvin makes great guitars, although they are expensive.
But they seem to be a good buy second hand, as they drop faster in price than Fenders/Gibsons/PRSs.

Nice playing too! smile.gif

QUOTE ("Steve Vai")
Start by playing something - a bend, a riff, a scale, a song - very slowly; if you make a mistake, start over; do this over and over, until you can play it flawlessly - and I do mean flawlessly - many times in a row. Next, gradually increase the tempo. Eventually you'll be flailing like a madman.
