Sure! It can be a REC in order to receive feedback from other instructors as well.

I always rest the palm of my right hand on the bridge. That's the way to have a more controlled picking for me and I think that for most of the guitar players. Regarding the pinky finger, there are no rules about it. I even change my hand from closed to opened depending on what I'm playing so that's up to you to experiment and see which way is more comfortable for you. Watching some great guitarists videos can be also very inspiring for this.

Yeah friend told me that to. I do have more control when picking like this but the strings are like a bit muted when resting slightly on the bridge. How can I prevent that? The only strings that should be muted are the 5th and 6th which is great for riffing and also for soloing. If the strings are muted too much, you should move your hand more to your right to decreases the pressure (more over the bridge). And if you need to play these strings without muting, you can quit the palm in that movement doing some kind of vertical movement. Check Hetfield's right hand in this video: Notice how he does to alternate between palm muting and power chords doing moving the hand from his wrist. -------------------- My lessons

Hi mate, I'll check the REC take. Do you mean that Metallica's lesson backing is at a different tempo than the main video?

Sure! Could you please share here a list of the lessons that you've worked, and if possible your most recent takes? Only did the metallica for beginners lesson. https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...mp;#entry737753 And practiced some clean playing tips mentioned in my first rec and the vibrato exercise. If I have spare time when not practicing something from here, I'm playing blink/offspring covers cause I'm at the powerchord punk skill level right now lol ;-) So I'm open to your suggestion, I trust your guidance! -------------------- "Where words fail, music speaks!"

I start the slide from the 6 fret to the 8th with my third finger. Then, I use my first finger to press fret 6 and add vibrato.
