GMC Forum _ REC _ Outlaw2112 - Metal Series 3

Since i recently got another guitar i can finally have one tuned down half step and do some of lians awesome lessons..

I recorded this with my esp mh-1000 through the emg 81 pickup, with a pod X3, and a logitech quickcam 9000

This was a great take with a nice feel to it. I think tone must be biggest concern here for future recordings. Try lowering down the distortion a bit and add more muting to your playing.

I like the attitude of your playing but the rhythm placement must be worked. I also think that with that guitar and pod you can improve you sound a lot! Keep on rocking!

Work on the rhythm placement and it will make everything sound stronger. Other than that very good job !

Edit: Your sound could use less gain , there seems to be too much of it.

Pay attention to the timing and try to do a better mix. Other than that, pretty nice take.

awesome take man. as the others said, pay attention on timing, try to get more attack on the low E, remember you are playing metal, so you have to be a little bit more aggressive on your playing.
overall it´s a great take. well done!
