Same topic slightly off topic. On the opposite end of the scale...its a cultural thing I'm sure...but in Spain no one seems to bother saying please or thanks. The British who live here say please and thanks too much its embarrassing...according to the Spaniards I know...I have said thanks (Gracias) for a beer when delivered one in a Bar...And have actually been told don't thank me your'e paying for it! They've got a point really! laugh.gif

I was in Canada once and I could hardly believe how friendly everyone was! As soon as anyone heard my accent they would be talking to me for ages. shops, restaurants, petrol stations.... almost everywhere. It was quite awesome smile.gif
I would love to go back sometime. Its a brilliant place.

So You say when Canadian meets Spanis guy....there could be a disaster ?biggrin.gif Funny thing...I know that those are only myths...with just a little piece of hidden truth but...I felt off my chair anyway when I saw this smile.gif)) Same thing is with Poland...some people think that we live in the forests and are only able to drink Vodka + eat sasuages biggrin.gif Also...very sad, but in many countries we have an opinion of being thiefs...Just because of a few people who steal time to time..

Haha, very good.

I imagine Canada to be pretty brilliant. I'll always remember an old Canadian couple I met in a shop when I was a small boy. They were struck by how polite I was so they gave me a tiny little badge with the Canadian flag on it which I wore on my shirt. Great people. smile.gif

My hair used to be as long as Ben's. I had long hair my whole life until a few years ago.

hahah, very funny pics. biggrin.gif Nova Scotia, Canada is the friendliest place I have ever visited. It is almost shocking at first when you are not used to people being too friendly.

This was the length for most of the time. I had it past my elbows at some point but those pictures predate digitl technology.
Also, had an hilariously bad mullet when I was around 13-14... only Canadian hockey fans would appreciate that so I'll save myself the embarrasment. biggrin.gif
