GMC Forum _ GEAR & PRODUCTION _ Prs Content - Zach Myers Se

Honestly, my favourite new guitar from NAMM '14. It just has such a unique look and feel compared to the rest of the SE range. I jumped at the chance to review one when the local distributor called to let me know that they had reached my country.

Please check out the link if you'd like to see/hear/read about it! Some of you may have seen it already through the Six-String Samurai FB page.

When I was a teenager I had a dream to own PRS one day. I remember their beautiful photos in the web and insane look in video clips smile.gif Unfortunately I was never able to play one back then smile.gif Still have a sentiment smile.gif I remember I helped my friend to sell his prefactory PRS.

Cool stuff, what year is that one?

How's the weight?

I'm not crazy about the cosmetics but I've been wanting a semi-hollow (preferably LP body) guitar I could place classic humbuckers, this seems like a good option smile.gif

It was probably about 1/2 to 2/3rds the weight of my PRS Singlecut (which weighs around average for a LP). So it's pretty light.

I currently have the SE Custom Semihollow and it's very light in comparison to the Mike Mushok for instance - I think that one alongside the Ibanez K7 were the heaviest guitars I have owned so far. Of course, I don't remember the weight of my Epiphone Les Paul when I had it back in 2001-2004 smile.gif

Cool, my current guitar is almost 4kg and I'm really bored carrying around biggrin.gif
