Hell hounds on my Trail is one of my fovorite COB songs well next to mask of sanity, silent night bodom night , if you want peace prepare for war and everthing else alexi has come up with

Haha, I remember I thought I had come up with a new keyboard melody. Then I heard Mask of Sanity and heard that the melody I had made and the intro were almost exactly the same I guess I heard the song and then started thinking of it later without remembering that it really was the actual song

Alexi is not only amazing, he sings at the sametime, and his vocals are awsome, his riffs are just pure heavy, and he pulls it off while being 100% metal.. synyster just makes me wanna puke.. so .. i vote for the COB

Alexi and Syn are not even in the same league as Skolnick!

anyway I don't really like Alexi or Synyster Gates but I would have to give this one to Alexi.
I find his music better, A7X is just mass produced metal in my mind... it belongs on MTV
Don't get me wrong though, I think Syn is very a good guitarist, but Alexi has better chops (if he's not drunk) and just DOMINATES the stage. I saw them on gigantour and his stage presence made it the best show of the night

Synyster. To me A7X have great guitar parts while COB doesn't affect me at all.

Alexi Laiho gets my vote. Synyster is pretty "meh" and chose a rather dumb stage name. Alexi, while good, isn't as amazing as some people are playing him up to be. : P

I'm gonna stick my head out saying Synyster
They are not much alike in style, so the whole comparing-thingy doesn't really add up, but anyhoo...
They're both great guitarists, and yea I'm impressed of Alexi's ability to sing besides it as well, that demands control,
but IMHO Synyster got more musicality to his playing, while COB at times feels a little to flat and just pushing the most notes into shortest amount of time... So as a guitarist I'd say Synyster, as an entertainer/artist, i dont know...
