> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

well man, that was a great take! there are some parts that need more work tho. fast picking is not too clear and notes at 00:38 (the palm muted ones) sound not too good.
overall, it´s a great take, and you got the metal touch that helps a lot to the vibe of the lesson. just work in these tiny details and you´ll get it completely.

Nice take! your palm muting is solid but on 0:42 you tend to go away from the pulse.

Also the tone could use more mids so it's a little more defined

Nice take smile.gif . Keep attention on timing and over your palm muting technique. This is essential for this kind of riffing.
