Okay here it is. Till the crazy pick tapping.
I dont have a wah, nor crazy humbuckers. No sqeals too, will work on that. I know this take is pretty horrible, well. Just listen. After 37 seconds its just the backing track playing. Finally, it's here;) Now , laugh your asses off!!!!!!!
This one only does 2/3. Bt that's enough, I didn't play that much anyway!
? where is it dude ?
Uploading file atm
LOL, I had it in wav. but took like an hour to upload. So atm, im putting it trough an converter:D ASAP!
HERE IT IS!!!!!
stupid free version only lets me convert 10 seconds:( awww
That was a very good take Jesse well done. The only bits I would criticise are the bits with harmonics and whammy bars. There is a bit in the second section (don't know when cos im using quicktime), where there should be a natural harmonic on the 5th fret of the G string, and I think, the 5th fret of the B string as well. Also on the last note you played Satch gives his whammy bar a bit of a shake and you don't. Of course if you don't have a whammy bar then ignore me but your guitar sounds like a strat and so i think you do. Apart from that it was very good.
That`s was a great take Jesse! Keep the good work and you nail it! haha and how Matt mentioned it does sound like a strat (actually i think it is) more agressive sound will be better (vibrato includes here too), but anyways you did really great!!
Nice work Jesse. The whammy bar harmonic part this is what I do:
Hold the bar lightly with my 3rd,4th and 5th finger LH and dive after hitting an artificial harmonic on the C (5 fret G string). Using AH as opposed to natural gives that Satch squeal. I also do a rake before hitting the note.
Also, just to add a bit of agression, when you hit the B flats on the second repeat of the phrase - add a little 1/4 bend
Great take!
It's a great take, the advices above are just right
You stopped at the tapping secion
Continue working on the song!
Great work so far
GREAT STUFF JESSE !!!! satch worships you!!! lol
Sounds pretty cool Jesse, you rock!
Thank's! Yeah this was a strat... without whammy!:D
Thank's for the cool advices as well, I'm going to try and play it today with harmonics and whammy:D
I'm going to buy an ibanez spring 2010 or something:D
Jesse I just heard it. All the advices above apply, I would just add that you apply wider vibrato when you play here.
Keep up the good work man !
Pretty good man, but you need to work on your feeling.
Especially vibrato.
Nothing wrong with the feeling, just the vibrato:D
eey Jesse, did you do rhythm guitar as well? I think it sounds prety authentic
No!:D Yeah, its just the whole trackwithout guitar from guitarbackingtrack.com I did play the intro/blues/rythm thingy
