Thanks Gab, I had a great time smile.gif

I have marked the up and down beats for Part 3.
The notes marked with blue is played with downbeat, the ones marked with black are played with the upbeat and the ones in green are between up and downbeat.

Also I have a recorded a video for Part 3.
I thought it was quite easy to play along GuitarPro but over the backing it was a bit harder.
To me it does not sound totally tight.

I will post a video for Goo Goo Dolls in a few days smile.gif

Thanks.

The part I marked with yellow was part 3, I noticed i forgot to write that.
I will keep on practicing this one.

Edit: I also recorded some takes of Goo Goo Dolls part 2 at 80 bpm

Thanks Gab, i have tried to play both the Strumming and arpeggio part but going from the strumming to arpeggio was a bit tricky so I will keep on practicing that part.

I will be going on a holiday now and I will be back Friday evening smile.gif

I recommend that you isolate each part and work on them as loops. Then you can also create an extra exercise that combine the last measure of the arpeggio with the first measure of the strumming.

So you would have 3 exercises:

1. Arpeggio section
2. Strumming section
3. Arpeggio/Strumming connection

Enjoy your vacation mate!

Hi Gab,
I am back from the Vacation now and started to practice again.
I noticed that the part 3 in Goo Goo dolls is another small arpeggio.
I will start to practice today the connection between part 1 and 2 for Goo Goo Dolls

Also I will attach a picture of my hand when playing the arpeggio

Hi Alex! Welcome back mate!! I hope that you enjoyed your vacation.

Thanks for the update and the picture. Your hand positioning looks ok, but I would recommend trying to put your thumb more in a centered position in relation to the other fingers.

Hi Gab,

Yes I did have a great time.
I hope you are doing well also smile.gif

I tried to move my thumb and it was better.
I recorded two videos yesterday. One for the Acoustic Solo and one for the Goo Goo Dolls.

I play the Part 1 and Part 2 of the Goo Goo Dolls at 80 BPM. I think the transition between the Strumming and arpeggio is quite good now.

Also a take for the Acoustic Solo at 75 bpm
