I just but the KFK set of 81/85 EMGs, and mid-way through installing them I hit a problem, the volume/tone pots are connect by less than an inch and a half of wire and theres at least 4 inches between the feckin holes in my axe. So do I cut them apart and re-solder them back with a longer wire(I shouldnt have started this I dont even have a soldering iron! laugh.gif ). And if i do what form of wire do I use to lengthen the wire with the green yoke (small green square thing says this on it: 104K 100V)

Can someone help quick my poor axe is lying midway through surgery on my bed! (which is a mess tongue.gif ). The guitar is a B.C. Rich WMD SOB if thats of any importance, looks like this.
