Staffay just checking how you are doing with assignments? I know you are busy with some future gigs so just let me know if something changes, deadline is 26th!
Staffay how are assignments coming along ?
Hi Pedja, as I'm completely stunned by the duo playing between Goodrick/Metheny I used my Loop-Station to make a take on "How Insensitive".
However, I need some tips on improving/practice double-time, since I think I'm doing something wrong in my double-time playing and can't figure out what it is.... (other than the timing has to be better of course, it can always be improved) What I really need is some comments from You to improve this piece before I record a vid take.
Cheers!

Sounds great Staffay!
I suggest breaking out double time soloing with some motives or repetition with sequence. Another thing that you can do is brake out rhythm phrases like Michael Brecker. Last but not least, try applying different techniques in different parts of double time solo (arpeggios, tensions, pentatonics, approach patterns, outside soloing, repeated note ideas, motive development etc).
Hope that helps man. Look forward to your May's work!
Pedja
