Hey Emir!

Congrats on the review, really cool!

I was wondering what your intentions were with the name of the 1st track on the record? tongue.gif
Because "Forspil" means "Intro" in Danish, so I was thinking "Uhm....WHAT?!?" when I read the track listing, and it was tagged "(Intro)" biggrin.gif

I think it's a German word but spelled different. In our language it could mean the intro or the main melody of the song that is repeated several times (like the main theme in Final Countdown) but we use that term only in traditional music. That one on my album is taken from one traditional song from Bosnia.

I just checked out some of the tunes on your myspace site. Man, you are a fantastic player! Your singer, John West is quite good also. Good songs, good arrangements, and a really cool album cover, too. Great job, Emir. I wish you much success!

@Canis: Yeah, Danish and Norwegian are pretty close languages...tongue.gif

Cool, then it does make sense. smile.gif
In german it's "Vorspiel", which is practically the same word as "Forspil" is in Danish, and apparently it's also common in Bosnian countries..tongue.gif

How about that laugh.gif
