Are you looking forward to this?

I'm still on the fence regarding Tim Owens "fitting" into Yngwie's sound.

Don't get me wrong, I think he's a phenomenal singer. One of metal's best.

Just not sure if this is a good right fit.

Edit - The album is called Perpetual Flame.... Jason Becker did Perpetual Burn. Sorry. Can't edit the subject line apparently.

I've just heard the clips. Very strong vocal for Yngwie style but it gave it some more power. Yngwie's songs are still the same smile.gif

yeahh YJM's love of HM,pedal licks, dimished arps and triads tend to colour all his songs in the same shade

But I notice that most guitarists in other styles sound the same too,and the ones who imatate his neo classical
playing normaly come out sounding less than 2nd best! One of the reasons I stay away from Harmonic minor biggrin.gif

I have the entire album, and once more, I agree that it still sounds very similar to Yngwie's other works. However, I am still really enjoying it and as much as I kinda wanted not to like it, I must say I have enjoyed listening to it this far.

I hate his attitude but most of his music is listenable. I may check out a few songs but mainly for vocals smile.gif
