Hi friends, i'm working on a "my funny valantine" personal version, i would like to exploit the full potential from Garageband and my Yamaha Pacifica. So, whay do you think about this little demo? Think its very amateur? Suggestions for equalization, compressor, drums sounds? Feel free to write what you want. Thank you!!!!

It gives me such a warm feeling smile.gif mate, I have to listen to it a little more, but at a first audition I would recommend getting a jazzier tone maybe, a little fatter by bringing down the tone knob a little wink.gif and round up your notes, bend and vibrate smoother! All in all it sounds good and with some improvement it could super awesome!

Actually, sounds very nice ! I would change the tone of the lead guitar, the color is the same as the backing guitar wink.gif

Thanks for your reviews, dudes,

Cosmin, Sinisa, i changed the tone of the lead guitar, like you recommended to me. I still prefer the trip-hop feeling not so jazzier. You can ear it at full:

This inspired me to learn the song. I might do a Bossa Nova take on guitar after I am finished. Great track, Man!

smile.gif I listened to it thoroughly and I would say that your vibrato would be a lot nicer if it were wider! It feels too tiny now sad.gif

So glad you like it. Bossa is great, i would like to know your take.

I'm thinking now on other jazz standars and make a little serie with the same sounds presets and feeling.

And this is my first demo sounds from "Autumn leaves".The bass line is too agresive, must fix some noises, create the lead guitar, etc. but this is the tempo and the feeling. Hope you like!
