----------------------------------------------------------------------------------17-19-20-19-17---- etc. ---17-18-17----17------------------17-18-17--17--------------------17-18-20---------------------------- ------------20----20-19-17-19-20-----------20-----20-19-17-19-20---------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After that you have plenty of random chromatic licks around Am pentatonics, A and D strings, 17th,18th and 19th frets. This was another none epic lick imho so stay on those frets, play whatever you want using same approach and it'll be fine.

Are you sure it's around the 17th-19th frets? I'm preety sure that when he's descending he's going back to the E phrygian starting from the 12th fret position.
I know it's not anything epic, but I just can't get that same effect with fast licks, so I just want to know exactly what he's doing so I'll have some idea on how to write fast licks with that effect.

It's in key of Am so E Phrygian is maybe confusing thing to say. And 12th fret high E is the same note as 17th fret on B string, note is E. After that you have to reach up 20th fret on high E and I thought it would be easier to stay on same position. I can try to give you full tab when I got some spare time, it was played a bit sloppy rhythmically wise and it'll be tricky to repeat it 100% the same.

I actually thought it WAS E phrygian, but now that I think abou it, when looking at the chord progression, it makes sense that's it's in A minor hehe.
No no, I agree with with you that the upscend is from the 17th on the B fret, but than he descends, and there I'm preety sure he reaches the 14th and 12th frets of the A and low E strings..
If you could, it would be great man, I don't need it to be 100% just something that will have the same effect!
Thanks Muris

I believe lowest note was D on A string 17th fret or 12th fret on D string, dependes of position where you play. Will see if I can make you full tab, can't promise when tho.
