Hey Daneeka, this is your personal thread where we shall be developing your guitar playing skills and any other musical aspect you would like
So I understand you would like to develop a funk playing technique which involves chords and melodies all together right?
I would be very interested to see you/ hear you play, so a recording would be of great help, in order for me to see where we can start
Let me know if it's doable please

Hey there Daneeka
you seem like having a firm attack with your right hand - there are slight timing slips, but with practice that will change
I say, let's focus on funk rhythm and some lead playing. We shall also discover theory on which these are being based, as we progress through the lessons, k? It's very important to know what you're playing too, even if funk is PARTYYY MUSIIIC
Let's start with this one: http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Jamiroquai-Style/
let me know if it's too difficult, k?
