But you can only pick three, and they don’t have to be in any particular order.

Mine:

Hmm. I'd put Wish You Were Here ahead of the other 2, but only by the narrowest of margins ... great choices!

Ha Ha - you can imagine how anguished I was having to pick only 3 albums...
I could easily have picked 3 floyd but I thought I had better have SOME alternative...lol
The Wall, Dark side and WYWH were very difficult to seperate. For those 7 years the Floyd were absolute genuis's. I have to put the Wall at the top of the pile and cant really seperate the other 2. Strangely enough, I have never been into any of their other albums at all, though to be fair, now that I am a guitarist I really should listen again as I am sure I would appreciate them more.

Zep 2 - same era. I adore that album - Zeps finest for me. What a productive time the 70's were for unbelievably durable rock music. It still sound today, as good as it did then.
I may be showing my age but todays rock music seems ok at first but I soon tire of it, I dont see much of it lasting the test of time.

Funny - that is also MY Floyd Era - stuff before and after is ok, but it doesn't quite hit the same level for me. For me though, Led Zep is about Led Zep 4 - haven't really listened to the others but if a man of your obviously impeccable taste recommends LZ2 then I shall have to get hold of it!

Some Great stuff here! biggrin.gif

Rage against the Machine are probably the only great band of the last decade or so, maybe RHCP

And dont get me started on how good pink floyd are!

But c'mon Led zep 4 being there best album? NO way! its gotta be either one or two (chek them two out tongue.gif )

For me:

-Led Zeppelin One/Two (ARGGG! CANT DECIDE!)
-Black Sabbath Paranoid
-ACDC BACK IN BLACK cool.gif

(no im not middle aged lol, im 15!)

what are the chances? while i typed this Steelkonsum gave paranoid as one his albums too!!

man this is a tough one. got so many really great albums from many different bands. but I guess at the moment these are my favorites:

- Uriah Heep - Wonderworld
- Johnny Winter - Rockin' Bluesman
- Odd Nordstoga - Heim te mor (a norwegian sort of folk music artist.)

Hmm this is a tough one, and my list would probably be different if I owned more CD's instead of singles but...

Nirvana- Nevermind

Pearl Jam- Ten

Guns and Roses- Appetite for Destruction (Damn you Axl mad.gif )

You ever listened to 80's band "The Replacements"? 80's band. Based on your choices, I think you would like them.

But after deliberation, only 2 who I think stand out about the others, and I can't say which album of each was best.

Beatles
Zeppelin
