But you can only pick three, and they don’t have to be in any particular order.

Pink Floyd The Wall Pink Floyd, Dark side of the Moon Led Zeppelin 2 Hmm. I'd put Wish You Were Here ahead of the other 2, but only by the narrowest of margins ... great choices! -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile

Hmm. I'd put Wish You Were Here ahead of the other 2, but only by the narrowest of margins ... great choices! Ha Ha - you can imagine how anguished I was having to pick only 3 albums... I could easily have picked 3 floyd but I thought I had better have SOME alternative...lol The Wall, Dark side and WYWH were very difficult to seperate. For those 7 years the Floyd were absolute genuis's. I have to put the Wall at the top of the pile and cant really seperate the other 2. Strangely enough, I have never been into any of their other albums at all, though to be fair, now that I am a guitarist I really should listen again as I am sure I would appreciate them more. Zep 2 - same era. I adore that album - Zeps finest for me. What a productive time the 70's were for unbelievably durable rock music. It still sound today, as good as it did then. I may be showing my age but todays rock music seems ok at first but I soon tire of it, I dont see much of it lasting the test of time. -------------------- its not easy

Funny - that is also MY Floyd Era - stuff before and after is ok, but it doesn't quite hit the same level for me. For me though, Led Zep is about Led Zep 4 - haven't really listened to the others but if a man of your obviously impeccable taste recommends LZ2 then I shall have to get hold of it! -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile
