GMC Forum _ GEAR & PRODUCTION _ Slowing down music without changing pitch

Posted by: Thaellar Feb 25 2007, 11:22 PM

Hi,
I am trying to learn Vivian Campbell's killer solo in Dio's Last in Line. Tab can only get me so far. I want to be able to play it perfectly at very slow speeds and then add 10 bpm whenever I am ready. Is there something that will do that for me? Obviously the pitch needs to be the same at whatever speed I choose.

regards,

Thaellar

I'm using a program called Best practice. I posted a link in an earlier post if you search for it.

Yep, that's just what I was looking for. Thanks for the link.

I saw your previous post wasn't that old. Please don't think I posted without searching. I did search on "pitch" and "slow", but didn't hit it. Thanks for the info.
