Original lesson: http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guitar/rocker-riff2/
Very good job my friend. Rhythm part is pretty solid - it's could be a bit more tight in case of timming but just a little There are some things to fix in the solo part. 0:20 - 0:21 and 0:31 - pitch to correct. Similar thing with the bend at 0:33. 0:40 lick something went a bit out of timming. But I think You did a nice job over this lesson.
After listening to it I can tell one common problem for Your takes and it's a pitch issue while doing bends. So the good news is that it's a one thing to be fixed and it will positively affect Your playing. Bad news is that bending pitch and doing vibrato while bending is probably one of the biggest problems while playing so it does need a lot of time to work on it...but...once You get there, You'll be able to improve every next take of Yours
You can plug a tuner device and watch it while playing so Your fingers will remember the tension of particular bend at particular position.
Hey there amigo!
Darius has spotted the moments that need your focus - you are getting very close! Now, articulation in general, takes a bit more time, because - in my opinion - it is a skill that shows off an individual's personality more than any other technique, so it needs more focus and practice in order to slowly become a trademark - you can recognize a lot of guitarists just by listening to their bending/ vibrato technique alongside the tone, right? My 2 cents on this - have patience and work hard. Spot the moments that Darius mentioned and work with a tuner in order to reach the correct pitches!
Keep rocking mate!
Cosmin
Hi mate! nice to see you rocking this one! As my friends said, there are many things to improve in the solo. I think that you are not 100% sure of the phrases that I composed on this solo, and you are now doing a variation of it. My suggestion is to check out my solo again and practice it over me until you feel more comfortable with the parts. Pay attention to timing an your bends pitch while doing it.
Keep on rocking!
Senor Coffee !
The guys have great advice so I won't recycle it again..
From around 1:30 onwards you lose the timing of the phrasing, so make sure you're 100% acquainted with the flow of the piece otherwise you can start to forget how things are supposed to sound once the camera's rolling
Good work though !
Almost there, 6.75
