Here you go, just a tiny bit more gain on the Solo C, with a 0.8mm pick, a little input boost from my pedal and just a tiny bit of noise removal with Audacity, nothing intense Sorry there was a delay, I actually injured my finger while I was setting up my stuff for playing, so I Had to stop playing for a day to get back in shape

Good job Now the palm muting has enough attack Let's leave it this way. I think that more precission in playing will come with time But this is quite big step further Congratulations Now...we won't mix the guitars with the bass. We will mix the bass with the drums. Please send me drums only mix so I can check if everything is ok with them before doing next parts Those details are very important - raw audio files are the key to good mix |

One drum track coming up This is the whole drum track of the song, the bassline isn't complete, my drummer friend sent me a wav file and I had to convert it, it was BIG The bit rate is 192kbps though, not 128

I recorded the bass again using direct input because I thought it wasn't very loud with the interface, I have the bass for the whole track here along with the drums. I did the EQ on bass track like this:

Here's the bass track I wrote for that first riff, I have to admit, without a midi keyboard, writing midi tracks seems a bit harder than I thought, but maybe it'll get easier with time?

Here's the bass track I wrote for that first riff, I have to admit, without a midi keyboard, writing midi tracks seems a bit harder than I thought, but maybe it'll get easier with time? song_bass.MID ( 549bytes ) Number of downloads: 90 Yes it is...but it has some advantages - always in tune, easy to correct signle notes, no additional noise and perfect timming To be honest if You're not familiar with the keys You will need to make some manual corrections anyway.... By drawing You just have a ready track. Very often some plugins, virtual instruments are underrated because of the lack of knowlege about basic mechanisms working in the real life instruments. So drawing skills are something cool when You have some expirience I don't want You midi file Do the list : 1. Download 4Front Bass - http://www.yohng.com/software/bass.html 2. Launch it as a VST instrument 3. Set the midi track out to "4Front.." 4. Add some corrections for bass to fit the bass drum (as we already did with previous version) 5. Send me a mix of bass and drums What DAW You're using? Reaper? |
