This news came to me like a storm - The True Metal Legends have released new material and it's unbelievably good!

You can listen to the 2 new songs and they sound like they should have been released in '93!
This is what real heavy metal with threash influences should sound like! The musicianship and singing is top notch!
Attention .This is what Top quality metal should sound like - like a punch in the head without unnecessary "emotional" breakdowns and philosophing l!!
Perhaps A candidate for the album of the year?

Yeah DG, Blessing in Disguise is one of the Best Power/Heavy Albums of ALL THE TIME. I also haven't followed them since the former singer died, but dig this album much, it sounds a bit like Overkill, but still it's M church smile.gif

Cool, Overkill was one of my fav thrash bands. I will be checking out the whole album for sure. Not too much is released in this style anymore.

I just saw that Gab is playing with Incubus (congrats to you Gab, btw)…

but I remember how upset I was when they took the name of one of my fav. thrash bands INCUBUS. Ever hear these guys?
Monster thrash riffs…

U still have a cassette deck? cool i had around 200-300 metal casettes at the time biggrin.gif

From the extreme metal bands Pestilence is one of the favorite ,Don't know were these guys famous in States, they're not so speed-driven, they're also technical at the same time

yeah, they changed their band name once Incubus became more popular to avoid confusion. The album that I posted earlier was reissued after long out of print under the newer band name.

I still have two cassette decks… one in my guitar room and another CD/tape combo in my bedroom. Still have a ton of cassttes but most albums that i really like I ended up replacing on CD.

Pestilence wasn't too well known in the States…. but I was really into this genre when it first came out. I had their albums on cassette too. smile.gif

I was really into Testimony of the Ancients album and other great technical extreme metal albums like Atheist- Unquestionable Prescence, Carcass- Heartwork and Death- Human are some of my all-time favorite albums. smile.gif
