Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi Michael... well done, I think you did a great job in tackling this lesson ! )

The main thing that needs work, for me, is the timing aspect. You're generally pretty good at that but when things get a bit busier you have a tendency to rush ahead. I put this down to concentrating harder and losing the flow of timing, which is something that happens to all of us at some stage ! So don't worry about it being a problem particular to you.. it will even itself out, especially when your fingers become more confident at performing more demanding tasks. As they become more natural, you can relax more smile.gif

Great work cool.gif

Hey Michael! How are ya man? I like the way this take is building up and your articulation skills are nice as well - I know you can do better if you would spend a little more time on the following things:

- timing, as Ben said, is generally good but not japanese sword tight smile.gif which is nothing short from what I'd like from you wink.gif
- building up some confidence will provide a better take for certain, so just give this lesson some more time of practicing until you are certain of every note you are playing smile.gif

let's rock!!

Cosmin

Hi mate! Congrats on your first level 3 lesson! You are very close on this one. As Ben & Cosmin said, you have to improve your timing. Mainly in the faster parts. There you lost the rhythm so you have to concentrate on that. The first melodies sound good, and the only comment that I could give about it is that your vibrato could be wider.

Sounds very good! You got a very nice tone and I like your vibrato!
Your timing is a little off I think if you will spend more time practicing this lesson with a metronome it will sound perfect!
Just set it at a comfortable tempo and play it every day for a week you will see a huge improvement!!!!
