I know some acoustics come with an adjustable saddle but I didn't know if you could actually upgrade the standard saddle on an acoustic to an adjustable?

never heard of that either. Perhaps some luthier who knows how to work with acoustic guitars can help there.

I believe you can always put new saddle on your guitar,
make it more lower or higher.
Adjustable saddle would need special type of bridge or som, dunno.

im sure there have been acoustics with saddle type bridge,



where, i just dont know, i tried googling but only found some that have an adustable bridge, not individual saddles :-\

To the best of my knowledge there aren't many Guitars that were ever built with an adjustable Bridge/Saddle. Late 60's Eko's had a saddle that had two Thumbwheel screws on either side to raise or lower each side of the bridge. From a small amount of research I've found that not many Manufacturers/Luthiers use them as they only have a small 'Contact Point' on the top of the Guitar and so don't transmit as full a sound through the Guitar!
I'll do a bit more research and see if I can find anything more!!!

After a bit research all I've found is adjustable Bridges for Archtop guitars mainly!!

But you can get an Adjustable Insert for a Flat-top Acoustic Bridge. So, to answer your original question...
The answer is "Yes, you can upgrade you Bridge!!!!"
