Hey man! I do belive that this is your first REC take, right? If I am right, congratulations and welcome to the REC Zone smile.gif

The first observation I would have is that you need to focus on practicing this lesson at a slow speed and be able to play each note as clean as possible. In this moment, about 70 % of the take is blurry.

My suggestion would be:

- practice each part slowly and pay attention to every detail
- put all the parts together and play them against the metronome at a slow speed - this will help you memorize the parts together and be aware of the rhythm, without any landmarks, which would be provided by the backing track.
- once you are comfortable, play the piece against the slowest available backing track
- gradually raise the speed by keeping the clean playing, good timing and articulation consistent (vibrato, bends)

Keep rocking,

Cosmin

Wellcome at the REC section Frank! Great that You've decided to join and show your playing smile.gif

As Cosmin wrote - Your guitar tone is not clear enough through the mix and It's hard to judge those fast runs. Maybe try to decrease the reverbs and add a bit of lower mid range - sometims 1dB boost makes a difference for the mix and don't completely change the sound You would like to here. Try to add some 500-600 kHz range.

Beginning seems to be pretty nice but once You start the fast part those licks are not precise yet. Try to give more practice on this harder part. Try some middle tempo to make shure Your fingers know exactly where to be put on. Jason style is not an easy one and need some extra attention but everything is possible to do smile.gif

Hi Frank! Congrats on your first take! Both Cosmin and Darius already gave you excellent feedback about this take. I agree with them. Follow Cosmin's guidelines to adjust this lesson and take your time for practice. Also let me know if you need some help with extra lessons or exercises that could help you to master this one. Just send me a PM. wink.gif
