Great solo!
Hi Hector!!
This is killer man! The lesson is very new so you haven't had much time to learn all these tricky licks and phrases. You are moving from picking to tapping and from tapping to fingerpicking in a very smooth way. This is very impressive! Congrats.
As I know that you haven't practiced this for much time, I recommend you to continue playing these licks so you can get the smooth sound that Dallton has in his take. Now that you can play everything completely clean and tight, I would put some focus on the sound of each note and the articulation of phrases. This is the only element that I find different from the original and that could be improved.
Other than that, this is killer, good job!
Very cool Hector!
I love your relaxed left hand posture and that killer background 🤘 Very tasty tone and fingerpicking/hybrid technique.
The only thing I felt was not entirely convincing was the longer faster runs towards the end. They felt a bit fluctuating timing wise and we could hear some missed notes. I have no doubts you would nail them quickly though with some extra practicing days.
Welcome to GMC and REC! 🤗
Hey there!
That's a really cool lesson with some fancy stuff. It all sounds like you've got the idea what and where should happen, but it still leaves the feeling of lack of confidence while playing. there are still tapped notes that could have been clearer.
Around 0:41 is the part that feels most unconfident - most of little imperfectiosn are right there - mosty visible is little timing slips.
Considering the complexity of the lesson and how much of progress you have achieved in such a short time, I have to admit it is really well done take. Keep up the good work
