Hi Gabe, as I we spoke about, I have yet to master these PH you do on the low E. Your lessons are often in drop D so that makes it even tougher for me. I can get PH on the upper 4 strings and on the 5th some. But the sixth just eludes me, at least with the tone you get. Got any tips on amp settings to improve this?

cheers

Hi toroso! The pinch harmonic must be generated with you pick + finger. The things that could help you to make it sound better (once you've mastered with your pick)

  • Using the bridge pick up
  • Setting the amp with a high level of treble and distortion, drive or gain
  • Adding a strong vibrato
The most difficult thing for me was to make it sound every time that I wanted without fails. The only way to master this has been lots of hours of practice over Ozzy's albums. smile.gif
