I´m not an expert but I think its E minor
Yeah, imitating other instruments on guitar
will make you sound very "strange and cool" at the same time,
like many great Jazz players who were imitating sax players etc.
And it's Em with small touch on E Dorian at one point.
thx very much for all the help. just one last request if you can tab the first 3 notes so i will have an anchor cause where to play something on the fretboard i alawyes a problom for me
----------------------------------- E
----10g12------------------------ B
--------------9-9-h11--12g14--- G
----------------------------------- D
----------------------------------- A
----------------------------------- E
I think thats the first bar mate, it is Em by the looks of it.
Hope it helps, I dont usually tab stuff!
Also, work on appoggiatures which is basically approaching a note from below or above with fast hammer-ons, pull-offs or slides.
doesnt sound too complicated. thogh i think the theory of this flute is a bit advanced so ill stick to my ears and try to make it work. my guitar is being repaired now anywayes and im getting crzy from not being able to play.
can it be performed with a bend or a pbr? that was one of my goals in this lick
Sure thing, why not, bend is there to play with.
Thanks Muris. :-)
E minor, with some small modulation.
I could ask these guys the next time I see them
Jonas
Well, I've transcribed the first 13 measures so you'll have an idea.

You're welcome mate
If you have any troubles post in my board or send me a PM
Keep the good work
This gave me some ideas to work on copying another instrument as well, never really thought about doing it until now.
Thanks for the idea, good luck with your own transcription and beautiful music btw
