Oh man, where to start... I guess it would make sense to start with the most impressive performers!

Arch Enemy (3 times.. if you EVER get a chance to see this band DO IT. Their performances are always perfection as far as guitar goes, and their live sound is so clear and perfect, unlike some other bands on the list)
Opeth (twice until next month... when you see these guys, you get a great metal show as well as some stand up comedy and trivia... they really are a complete package, lol)
Chimaira (twice, these guys are my boys, represent!)
Children of Bodom (they're just pure energy!)
Devildriver (twice)
Rammstein
Nile
Behemoth
Dimmu Borgir (are incredible, but need to fire their sound guys)
Megadeth
Crossbreed
Dark Tranquility
Machine Head
Strapping Young Lad/Devin Townsend Band
Lamb of God
God Forbid
Ozzy
Through the Eyes of the Dead
Godhead
Static-X
Lordi (lol, BAD)

There's been others, of course, but if I can't remember them, they must not be that great.

And the band that I want to see live more than any other band is... Spiritual Beggars... or maybe Carcass! Here's hoping they tour north america sometime... together!

There used to be a big festival here in town each summer for 3 days that would have all sorts of bands and it ALWAYS coincided with then last weekend of the spring semester for college, so we would sell our books back and then buy tickets/booze for the weekend, which is how I got to see a LOT of these ridiculous bands. When nothing was going on I would go make highschool football players who thought they were hot stuff feel inadequate in the mosh pit of the "rock" stage, and you can apparently really upset Strokes fans by moshing during their show, we had one thick rimmed glasses wearer almost in tears because the "Strokes hate mosh pits". There are lots more bands than that, but I can't think of them. I wish it were a quality vs. quantity scenario but clearly that is not the case LOL.

I had the chance to see Eric Clapton's Crossroads concert this year....just awesome! ZZ Top, Keith Richards, Jeff Beck, Robert Cray, Buddy Guy, John Mayer, and more. BB King couldn't stop talking to play.

I probably see Buddy Guy play at his bar several times a year. Last year I went one afternoon and just sat with him at the bar and picked his brain for a while...

Too many to count, quite a few german bands most of you won't know, but the most famous bands I've seen so far were:
Blind Guardian
Kamelot
Green Day
Offspring
Bad Religion
Blink 182

A few concerts will follow within the next few weeks, gonna see Sum 41, Heaven shall burn and As I lay dying (not that these are super famous, but I'm still looking forward to it!)
