I've tried this, I didnt find it very useful. I prefer to just make my patches on the GT-8 itself. For just connecting the GT-8 to the computer, to download patches and such, I prefer the GT-8 Editor from bossgtcentral.com.

P.S. How is the GT-10? Have you used a GT-8 before, and if so, how do you think it compares?

I went from a GNX4 to GT10. Its cool. I dig the GUI interface. Im struggling getting a good tone. But then again I haven't really tweaked it much. I tend to just pick a patch and go.

Im gonna spend some time with it soon though.
