I use a chair with armleans on, but when I play guitar I sit on a wierd way so I get away from the sides
I should find another chair to use when I play, so I can relax more though.. And for the train tip: That's why I never sleep on a bus or train -------------------- GMC is not just a website... It's a lifestyle!

Thanks for the warnings man!!
I recommend also getting a chair without armrests - for playing the instrument ! Hopefully I don't use trains here -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net

I had armrests on my chair but didn't even put them on when I got the chair and assemble it. Playing on this kind of chair is not too good.
I never practice on chair anymore tho, everybody knows that the most comfortable place to sit to practice is on the edge of the bed. -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE

I sit on my amp. However, when I get home at my mum I´ll be sitting on a chair with armrests which I never use. The chair is already very old (about 15 years or so) and I like it because it´s really comfortable. I also sit on my amp (its a great chair - check out my lessons) ehhehe But my back hurts for days and gets all twisted because of that -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net

Get a chair that let four feet touch the ground, also the place where you sit must be plain, and a cushion helps, but it mjust be a stiff one.

Advice for a great chair?! (links!! ) Something like this : http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Mar...ool-?sku=450421 Also maybe chairs for drummers would work nicely too.. Or if you want comfort and ready to make an investment something like this : http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Pic...hair?sku=430991 -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net

I had (And still do) have a hard time playing standing up(even with my foot popped up on a monitor or something) because I spent too much time learning guitar while sitting. Still can't figure out how you rockers can play with your guitar hanging low off your hip(Which looks way better than me playing my guitar higher on my chest), but my fretting wrist can't bend enough comfortably when playing the guitar slung low. -------------------- "Three Chords & The Truth . . ."

Yeah of course people need to practice standing sometimes..I suggest adjusting the strap so guitar stays in same position when sitting and standing up...That way you should not have any problems.. -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net
