I'm going to pretend like I support this and then secretly be really sad. Will that work for everyone?

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

David, I won't have trouble missing you because I've bookmarked about a dozen of your lessons! I am now going to play Little Wing as a tribute. (Just learned your lesson). Best of luck to you in whatever you do. You deserve a lot of credit for making GMC such a special place!

Its very sad to see you go David, I too was around when you joined and remember being blown away by your metalhead lesson! I remember seeing your modal lessons fly by and they were responsible for sparking an interest in music theory so you've helped me come a long long way!

Good luck with all your projects, especially the sequel to "Deep Inside the Mind" which i hope to hear <very> soon wink.gif

oh what great sadness and such sorrow.. and what a very selfish thing to say of me..

I am sure you've been thinking long and hard about this, so i will just say that i've learned a lot from you, and i've loved your lessons.. there are a lot of them "sticking" out, and the first lesson i ever did on GMC (or should i say tried) was one of yours..

Come to think of it.. the last one i did was yours as well..

So i guess what im trying to tell you is that you've been an inspiration and always a joy to learn from and listen to and i wish all the best to you and those close to you..

Dont be a stranger though.. even though you wont be active as an instructor, we will still allow you to post as much as you want here.. laugh.gif laugh.gif

Take care buddy, we'll definately miss you..

Oh noooes! Man what a bummer! Good luck to you though and hopefully you will check in from time to time. I've almost mastered a few of your early lessons and will still be submitting them to REC. New lessons from you will be missed.
