Posted by: Power_Arctica Nov 3 2008, 05:33 PM

Hello Guys! i have the chance to get this guitar:

http://img87.imageshack.us/my.php?image=sdvb5.pnghttp://g.imageshack.us/thpix.php

Its a Washburn MG-70, Made in Korea year 1992, golden hardware, i think the floyd is a Washburn S600 like my N2
It Has EMG active pick ups, 2 EMG singles and 1 EMG 89 in the bridge.
It was love at first sight but i dont know much about this series (MG=Mercury Series?)

Someone knows the quality of the MG´s Series???

Actually i have the Washburn N2 (the korean one)

Thanks!

I may be wrong about this but I think that is a little steep for that particular guitar. It's not a bad guitar by any means I don't believe but it seems a little expensive compared to the price of other Washburn guitars. MG Series isn't available anymore I don't believe though so to find another one might be difficult.

Did you play it, if you like how it sounds, and how it plays, and you have the money, you should get it, it sure looks great, but how does it play?

If you like the sound than I guess it's OK. It seems like a good price, with a case and everything, but I would need to hear it play and feel the guitar for playability.
