GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ Swf Uploads

Posted by: Ayen Nov 19 2007, 09:18 PM

I've been working on a new signature, and I've nearly finished. The only problem I have is finding a decent site that I can upload and link it so it shows as my signature. Unfortunately, I'm completely at a loss here. Anyone know any good sites that'll let me get my .swf up as a signature easily

I use www.photobucket.com - works great ! smile.gif

I use Photobucket for all my picture uploads, but sadly:

The file "Acreedsigfinal.swf" is a SWF: SWF file uploading is no longer available on free accounts. SWF files can be uploaded to PRO accounts only.

It's a flash file; most flash animations are in that format.

SWFs are Flash video files. I need to use an SWF because there's a moving animation in the signature that I want to keep.

Smells, do you have a Pro account on Photobucket?

Ayen just publish as animated .gif

i think you cant put swf files as a signature because there is no BB code tags for them, if you use the IMG ones, it wont work.

But thats just me.

I would but the animation I'm trying to keep intact refuses to play since it's in a movie clip. If I take it out of the movie clip, I have to move 485 frames into the same exact position...

Damn, I figured It'd end up that way, Fret.

Holy Moley!

Well looks like you will have to sit through it and do that. I made mine in 35 frames by print screening and cropping the pic then masking it. It took a really long time, but i think turned out nice biggrin.gif

Publish settings- Gif
Playback: Animated
Pallete Type: Web Snap Adaptive

Thanks, it would've had a full-on assassination but a new enemy prevented me. That new enemy's name is SWF.

Please no animations. It's annoying, slows down browsing and steals focus from the text you try to to display.
