Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Ok here is me playing Joe Kataldo's lesson "String Skipping Arpeggios Workout". I just want to add after seeing your comments about rhythm placement, that I find it a lot easier to keep in time with a simple drum beat or metronome on this lesson. There is something about this backing that I find difficult to keep in time with. I just wondered if you had any advice to staying in time with this backing?

You can see the original lesson here. String Skipping Arpeggios Workout Lesson

I used an Ibanez GRG170DX, into a PODXT, into my computer.

You need to be much more precise with rhythm placement. This one looks a bit hard for you but you can get to that level with some practicing.

I definitely agree with Emir on this one. Rhythm placement is the key to make this come all together.
It also looks like your right hand is not in sync with your left hand, almost like they are chasing each other.

Work on it more I am sure you can get great grades on this one!

BTrack is syncopated a bit so you have problem to a proper counting.Try focusing on main beats 1-2-3-4!
As Muris said, get metronome and practice ! Nice take smile.gif
