Broken wine glasses can be nasty - I used to work in a pub a long time ago and someone rammed a broken wine glass in to my hand. Well they were aiming for my face but I put my hand in the way  . Made a real mess of my palm at the time and I still have a tiny sliver embedded. Make sure you've got all the pieces out.

Ouch
 Sorry to hear about your injury. I havent had any glass-cuts like that, but i've done equally "stupid" things.. especially in the kitchen on those rare occasions i decide to make my own food. I've got a talent for getting burns on my fingers due to automatic reactions whenever i drop something

Ouch man
Hope it heels soon!! I hate such injuries (I hurt my hands wrist recently because I was trying to slow down my fall)...Maybe its time for some time off until it heals ...
