Rain is coming down again
Another night spent in silence
Slowly darkness is to engulf me
As I gaze out through the windowpane
Is there anything in me worth saving
Is there a purpose to this life?
Feel so abnormally pessimistic
Feel like nothing lies out there for me
Slowly through this life I tread
Walking ever weaker against stronger winds
Mind crumbles underneath the pressure
Motivation seems so surreal and artificial
Desire is a fading flame
What once burned in me, Is it to be never again?
Feeling the weight of reality coming down on me
What I once confided in now serves to push me
Where I’ve always feared to go.
This rain over me seems like it pours for eternity
The angels weeping, Or just not caring?
Sense the presence of reality yet again
Running back, I will hide for yet another night
When the day comes, The sun only reminds me
What a pathetic, Hopeless man I am
When did my youth end, and life come in to play
All the childhood memories, Lost to howling winds
But ever quicker I tread this life
Walking ever stronger against weaker winds
No matter how impossible anything seems
Ill find my way, And come out in victory
Tough it all was to this point
And tougher it is sure to become
And even though the odds are against me
I’ll be the man, Prevailing forever in adversity

I was in a kind of pessimistic contemplative mood about my life, So I started to write down some lyrics, As my stereo cycles through my CD's, It comes to Iron Maiden's "Dance Of Death", and starts to play the song "Journeyman", after hearing it, I just felt better, which is where the last verse comes in.
