Hi there,
I've been trying to nail this run in the solo from "Domination" by Pantera for about the last 2 weeks and I'm getting nowhere:
1 ------------------------------------|------------------------------------|
2 ------------------------------------|------------------------------------|
3 ------------------------------------|------------------------12-15------|
4 ----------------------12-15--------|-------------12-15-18-------18---|
5 -----------12-15-18--------18----|--12-15-18------------------------|
6 12-15-18--------------------------|------------------------------------|
1 ------------------------------------|------------------------------------|
2 -----------------------12-15-18---|-----------12-15-18-15-12-15---|
3 ------------12-15-18--------------|12-15-18-------------------------|
4 12-15-18--------------------------|------------------------------------|
5 ------------------------------------|------------------------------------|
6 ------------------------------------|------------------------------------|
1 12-15-18-15-12-15-12-15-19-15-12-15----------|
2 -----------------------------------|-------------------|
3 -----------------------------------|-------------------|
4 -----------------------------------|-------------------|
5 -----------------------------------|------------------|
6 -----------------------------------|------------------|
Sorry, its not easy to get the tab to line up properly here.
For those who don't know the song
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0boqnpueDFE Solo is at about 3mins 15secs and the run I'm referring to is at about 3:20
Anyway, I'm finding it hard to get this run to sound anything like the recording. After watching the video posted above, I beleive that this is actually done using hammer-ons, so I've tried that but it just sounds very noisey. So I'm wondering if anyone here has attempted this solo and could offer some advice? Otherwise I'll just keep trying I spose. The rest of the solo I can play, though I haven't attempted the big run at the end yet :shock
Thanks heaps for your help.
Peter
